If eco-guilt is getting to you too — you're not failing, monsoon states are just genuinely a different problem than what the cloth diaper reels made in Bangalore or Pune are showing you. For rash prevention regardless of what you use: barrier cream at every change not just when a rash appears, some bare bum air time daily, and check every 3 hours even with the "12 hour" overnight ones, they're rated for wetness not for skin contact time. Wish someone had told me that before I felt guilty for two months straight.
