peepoop 🍼 — one-tap baby tracking
The peepoop community is parents writing to other parents about the bit they're in. Every post carries how old the writer's baby was when they wrote it, because that's usually the part that decides whether the advice is any use to you.
What it's for
Telling someone three weeks behind you what actually happened. What you tried, what worked, what didn't, and what you wish you'd known. "Been there" is the main reaction on purpose — most of the time the useful thing isn't advice, it's company.
What isn't allowed
- Abuse, harassment, or having a go at someone for how they feed, sleep-train or raise their child.
- Advertising, spam, affiliate links, or promoting a product you're paid to promote.
- Advice that could hurt a baby — anything contradicting basic safe-sleep or feeding safety.
- Anyone else's private details: names, addresses, schools, or photos of a child who isn't yours.
- Anything sexual involving a minor, which we report to the authorities rather than merely remove.
None of it is medical advice
Everything in the community is written by other parents, not clinicians, and nobody checks it for accuracy. If something worries you about your baby, talk to your health visitor, GP or paediatrician. If it's urgent, don't wait for a reply here.
Posting anonymously
You can post and reply anonymously, and it means what it says: nothing on the page, and nothing in the public database behind it, links an anonymous post to your account or to your other posts. You'll still find your own anonymous posts under "Your posts" in the app, because that link is stored somewhere only you can read.
You do need an account to write anything, even anonymously. Anonymity is about what other parents can see; it isn't a way to post something nobody can ever be held to.
Your baby's details stay private
Your log — feeds, nappies, sleep, medicines, photos, your baby's name and birthday — is never published, and nothing in the community is generated from it. The single thing a post can borrow is your baby's age as a number, shown as something like "👶 4 months", and there's a switch to leave even that off. Anything else in a post is there because you typed it.
A photo you attach to a post becomes public, and can be indexed by search engines. Think twice about faces.
Reporting and blocking
Every post and every reply has a Report option. Reports go to us, never to the person you reported. Once a few different people report the same thing it's hidden from public view automatically while we look at it, and we aim to have a person review anything reported within 24 hours.
You can also block an author from the menu on their post — you'll stop seeing anything they write, without them being told. Anonymous posts can't be blocked, because there's deliberately nothing to link them to; report those instead.
Your posts are yours
You can delete anything you've written, at any time, from "Your posts" in the app. Deleting a post removes it from the site, takes it out of search results, and deletes its replies with it. Deleting your peepoop account removes your community posts too.
